A brief look back at 2017
Hi Everyone,
I don't think I’ve introduced myself before, my name's Jessica and I'm the Wedding Coordinator here at CJH. I joined the team in the second quarter of the year and so hit the ground running as wedding season was in full swing. 2017 was a busy one for us, with weddings, hen parties, schools and corporate groups to name but a few.
We had some truly amazing weddings here this year. Our couples joined us from every corner of the world; from Argentina to Australia, the United States to China. Not to mention all our lovely Irish guests who traveled to Cloughjordan from near and far.
2017 was the year our Woodshed was given a new lease of life and became our second indoor ceremony space which seats over 180 people. Lots of our couples choose to get married here among the wooden logs and festoon lights. Couples looking for a rustic, barn-like wedding ceremony this is the space for you!

No two weddings are the same here in CJH! It's so exciting to see how every couple interprets the space differently, coming up with new ways to decorate and add that personal touch to our stunning venue. From handmade wedding favours to amazing DIY photo booths. From Colombian themed drinks receptions to a trio of ukuleles on the lawn. This year the beautiful South African flower the Protea formed the centre piece for not one but two weddings. Symbolising change and hope, it makes perfect sense why our brides choose them as their wedding flowers.

The one thing every CJH wedding has in common is an amazing atmosphere. We want every couple to relax once they drive through our gates and savour every minute of their wedding weekend. We create a premium house party vibe with amazing food and beautiful surroundings to make your wedding one you and your guests will never forget!
As 2017 comes to a close and we have celebrated our last wedding of the year I wanted to take a moment, on behalf of all the team here in CJH, to thank every single one of our couples for choosing to celebrate their wedding day with us here in Cloughjordan House. We had an amazing year and we can't wait for 2018 to welcome lots of new couples to the CJH family.
