Corporate Testimonials
Reputation Inc, January 2023
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the wonderful experience we had at Cloughjordan House. Even though we had a few minor glitches and last-minute changes, it all went swimmingly. Everyone at RepInc is still raving over how amazing the retreat was, especially the food. The Asado was the real winner overall! We were especially impressed with the level of attention and care from the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. Hats off to the barmen for keeping us going into the wee hours of Friday morning too. They are all a credit to you.

On behalf of the EPS team at UL, I just want to say a massive “Thank you” to all the team at Cloughjordan House for a super day at our Team Building Day last Thursday. From the minute we arrived at Cloughjordan House we received a warm welcome. The cookery class with chef Adrian was so interactive as well as been so much fun and we all learned new skills which have already been put to use. The games on the lawn were very energetic and really brought out the competitive side of everyone. It was an excellent opportunity for the team to build relationships outside of the office in a relaxed environment. The winning team were delighted with their prize of a CJH hamper.

An Exceptional Venue for a Corporate Escape!
From start to finish our experience at Cloughjordan House was flawless. We were a group of 23 looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Dublin for two days to regroup and re-energise our team and refocus on our company values.
To start, the location was ideal – just 90 minutes from Dublin. We arrived to a very welcome breakfast of homemade pancakes, sausage & chutney sandwiches, Bircher muesli and chia seed pots – all homemade of course and washed down with fresh juice and tea and coffee.
The meeting facilities were exactly as required, airy and spacious with all the IT requirements and requests taken care of. During breaks we had full use of the main house to relax, along with the vast garden to stretch our legs and choose from the abundance of team games from badminton to tug of war, and we even had our own (fake) cow milking competition!
Dinner was served in the very unique Asado with roaring fires and delightful sharing dishes. The bar was stocked with organic wines, crafted beers and a charming (& patient) bar man who surely pours the best pint of Guinness in Tipperary and had great patience when our sing song continued into the early hours!
Accommodation again was exceptional. All rooms are uniquely designed with every comfort from lambswool blankets to hand-picked flowers from their walled garden.
On our last day we all made our own homemade soda bread in the cookery school which was a lovely treat for the group to take home on departure.
Last but not least – the team and hospitality at CJH was second to none. Sarah Coonan, who looked after our every need needs a special mention for her truly exceptional service making every process from booking to departure a seamless experience.
CJH is a truly magical venue and most importantly we left refreshed, revived and refocused, everything and more we had hoped to achieve on our retreat.
The Taste of Success, RTÉ - Ciaran Gallagher, Series Producer / Director
I've now shot 2 series of a prime-time competitive food show called 'The taste Of success' for RTÉ 1 using Cloughjordan House as a major location on both occasions. When seeking a location for the first series, I informed my research team I was seeking a venue which had the following: A country manor location, centrally located with accommodation for a large crew (30+) and enough availability to accommodate that crew during the summer months.., a grand manor house on its own grounds with a bespoke function room and to top it all - a cookery school with at least 4 identical stations for the competitive portion of the competition...
I walked away from the office thinking I'd asked the impossible and given the team a week's work. I was also resigned to having to compromise on my ideal location when they came back with options.
Literally 10 minutes later I was shown a webpage for Cloughjordan House.
From the moment I met with Sarah and the staff of Cloughjordan House, I knew I'd found (well, the researchers had found) the ideal location. Nothing was too much trouble for our demanding crew. The accommodations are top rate (don't let the fact they call it a cow shed put you off!) and the fact you can hire the venue out-right is ideal for a busy production.
The food is exemplary with no dietary requirements too much trouble. The manor grounds are perfect for picturesque filming and as they are based on the outskirts of a quiet village both your cameraman and sound person will be very happy.
I cannot recommend Cloughjordan House enough for any purpose you may need, be it a TV location, a corporate event or your wedding (which is a specialty) and I look forward to returning to Sarah and the staff for series 3.
